Help for Haiti

The US Government is leading the effort in Haiti to provide humanitarian and disaster relief assistance to the people of Haiti following the catastrophic earthquake that hit the capital city of Port-au-Prince on January 12. While the US Government does all it can, you can also help immediately by donating to the International Fund of the Red Cross. To contribute to Red Cross efforts, call 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or donate online at http://www.redcross.org/

For families of Americans living in Haiti, you are encouraged to contact the State Department at 888-407-4747. For information on non-U.S. citizens in Haiti call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
